Re-naming of local school

This morning PCSO's Cook and Green had the privilege to be invited to attend St Peters Church, North Road Buxton.  This was for the re-naming ceremony of what was, Fairfield Endowed junior school to its new title of St Peter's Church of England (VC) Junior School of Fairfield.  

The event was well attended by family and friends of the school and it was a delight to listen to the children give meaning to the change of name and to sing a couple of well practised songs.  

The PCSO's are linked to the school due to PCSO Green engaging the Year 5 pupils at the school with the “MINI POLICE” programme.  And PCSO Cook being part of the neighbourhood team that look after Fairfield.
